Champagne Veggie Jelly Shots

Veggie Jelly Shots


– Makes about 5 shots

  • 20ml agar agar flakes
  • 250ml champagne (Check that it is vegetarian/vegan, online or at your local supermarket)
  • 75ml organic cane sugar
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 60ml cranberry juice
  • shot glasses (or ice tray)


In a small saucepan, combine the champagne and agar agar flakes.  Stir to combine and let them sit for about 10 minutes

Turn the heat on to medium and bring the mixture to a boil.

Make sure the flakes are dissolved and add sugar, salt, and juice and stir to combine

After a minute or two, the mixture should be thickened.  Remove it from the heat.

Pour the mixture into your shot glasses and allow them to set for a few hours.

Use a toothpick to loosen the shot and roll it in sugar.

For a glitzy party look decorate with edible glitter and top with silver balls and pearls used for cake decoration

These shots can be made alcohol free using any juice to replace the champagne.
