Oil of Oregano Leaf comes from the Oregano herb, also known as Origanum Vulgare, a herb from the mint family. The word oregano is a derivation from the Greek words ‘Oros’ meaning mounting, and ‘Ganos’ meaning joy. So the name actually means “mountain of joy.”
