How It Works
The texture of the konjac sponge is pillow-soft once hydrated in water, and totally safe to use around eyes to remove daily grime and water-based make-up. Hydrate in warm water and squeeze excess water out. Taking the sphere side, gently massage the sponge over skin and polish your skin in small, circular motions for as little or long as you like.
The konjac sponge can be used on its own, or with the cleanser of your choice. If you use a cleanser, use less than normal, as the sponge helps the cleanser to work harder and go further.
Focus on problem areas, and use twice daily for the best effects. After use, squeeze the sponge out and hang to dry. The better care you give the sponge the longer it lasts, which can be up to 3 months.
The packaging is eco-friendly FSC certified with a window made from cellulose acetate (so it's completely biodegradable and plastic free!)

Lavender (Lavendula officinalis)
Location: Lavender grows wild along the Mediterranean coast but is also extensively cultivated for its fragrance in England and France.
Extraction: Steam distilled from the flower.
Colour and Odour: The essential oil is clear with a hint of yellow. It has a fresh, sweet, floral scent.
Description: A shrub growing to about 90cm tall having narrow linear, grey-green leaves and beautiful blue-violet flowers borne on long spikes.
Background: Probably introduced by the Romans to England, lavender quickly became popular for strewing, in pot-pourris and also widely used in perfumes. Lavender is the most versatile and useful essential oils for therapeutic purposes.

The Jojoba (pronounced ho-ho-ba) bush is an evergreen found in North America. The oil is extracted from the bean. It is rich in vitamin E and is a unique liquid wax used as an oil. It is fine, penetrating, stable and long-lasting. Jojoba can be used as a face moisturiser or as a luxurious oil for massage. Jojoba has a very close chemical composition to the skin's own sebum. It is suitable for all skin types, beneficial for spotty and acne conditions, and is also good for sensitive and oily skin. As it combines well with sebum, it also helps to unclog the pores and remove any embedded grime.
